Default Z71 vs Std Susp Package on 2014 2500HD???

I'm shopping for a 2014 SLT 2500 HD and I came across a nearly perfect SLT but strangely it is the only truck I have come across WITHOUT the Z71 package.

Has anyone driven a standard non-Z71 truck? According to what I can find the std package is tailored more for towing with a slightly larger front sway bar and ??? shocks. VS the Z71 package with slightly smaller sway bar, skid plates and jounce stops??? Not sure if that means there are no stops on the standard or not.

I'd like the skid plates but it seems like a good deal even if I have to get them after the fact.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
