Cummins Turbo On A Ford

will a WH1c off a cummins 12v fit on a 86 6.9l F250 diesel engine. if any flanges are needed do they make the or are they needed

I dont think so bud

Ford uses Garret I believe.........Cummins uses Holset and it different flanges

A 6.9 was never turbo from the factory... it's gonna need all kinds of stuff anyway

get a 7.3 manifolds an build a custom adapter (very easy to do) and bolt the WH1C on it....

i'm not 100% sure but fairly sure.
that holset has the same flange sizes as garrett.

either a t3 flange or a t4 flange.
if you have the measurements of the wh1c flange i have some t3 flanges some where i can measure.. i'm pretty sure a wh1c had the same flange as a t3 or t4
