Default 95 psd low voltage on start?

Just curious if this is an issue or normal....when I go to start my truck, the voltage is at about 10v. It takes about 2 minutes for the voltage to reach 15 or so. Just wondering....thanks

So that is normal for the voltage to be low for the first few minutes?

If your glow plugs are working, yes

Would it help at all to replace the plugs? I know I know, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but I'm just trying to freshen everything up. The truck sat for 4 years without being touched. Anything and everything that you could throw out there to check would be great! I'm still learning about diesels, so sorry if i sound retreated

I agree with joebob, you don't change the glow plugs because you want to, you change them because you have to. I need to change mine and I still don't want to...

My GPR cycles for a little under 2 minutes before my voltage goes to normal, and my glow plugs are all shot which means no cold starts without plugging it in or dealing with a white cloud spewing out the exhaust on start up.
