im looking at a 4bt with a chevy bellhousing will it work in a 92 blazer 4x4 the oil pan looks right

 

That's an awful heavy engine for the front end of that blazer. That'd be my concern.

 

yea that was my worry I decided to go Kubota

 

The 3.3BT is quite a bit smaller (and lighter). Couple other ideas: Mercedes 5-cyl and Landcruiser 4-cyl.

 

it aint that heavy, do the 4bt, i can tel you from experience, a mercedes 5 cyl is cool but in a jeep xj its alittle under powered and direct injection is way cooler when its 20 degrees out

 

I agree that the 4bt may be a bit heavy and its a pretty tall engine. I know its doable but I went with the kubota v2203 in my 1999 ranger 4x4 and its was a relatively easy fit and I couldn't be happier with the out come.

 

the 4bt is going in a 87 full size 4x4

 

a lot pricier tho compared to v2203 swap
