will a WH1c off a cummins 12v fit on a 86 6.9l F250 diesel engine. if any flanges are needed do they make the or are they needed

 

I think it would work you might have to make a couple mods to fit the holset to the powerstoke but what happened the garrett turbo on the truck?

 

Pretty sure the 6.9's and early 7.3's didn't have turbo's. You'd have to engineer something up. Don't think Ford put turbo's in until '94.

We have a 93 turbo diesel non powerstroke i think the PSD came out in 94. I have the turbo off the 93 not sure of the coundition. guy ran the engine out of oil... but ill take a look at it for ya if you are looking for one.

 

im not looking for one one of my budies wants to put my stock cummins 12v turbo on his ford since i upgraded to a phat shaft 62

 

you can make it work, as long as you have a welder and some creative thinking
