Default RAIL PRESSURE!?!?

Need insight on my 07 32500 5.9 6spd fuel rail pressure... @ idle it seems to be right in the mix of normal being between 6-7k... that bein said cruising at around 60mph/1800rpm it stays steady around 20k... ANY increase of throttle and she drops to about 17-18k or a little lower untill my foot levels out... am i where i need to be or does this seem off!?

opions and inputs of any kind would be awesome!!

proud 3rd gen CR owner...

It sounds about right to me. I would keep an eye on the pressure and if it really starts dropping then you could have an issue stating.

was gonna say...this isn't the 12v area....

Your pressures seem alright. but I'm not a CR guy either, so I'm not 100%

if you have stock injectors, chances are you won't be able to pull your rail pressures dangerously low even with an aggressive programmer...

usually takes aftermarket injectors to create a need for an upgraded/twin CP3 pump setup.

however upgraded lift pump never hurts as the stock lift pumps can't keep up with aftermarket mods on any generation truck.

also throw the K&N filter in the trash and replace it with a quality dry filter...

oiled air filters + high boost capable forced induction engines = a no no...

the turbo can suck hard enough on the filter to pull the oil right out of the filter gumming the compressor up and allowing dirt through..
