Default Ordered a Rough Country 6" Lift

I ordered a Rough Country 6" suspension lift for my 95 Chevy k2500 6 lug. Its an extended cab 4wd 6.5 turbo diesel. What should I expect when tackling this project and do you have any tips? I do have hands on auto repair skills, took basic and advanced auto repair in high school and work at the local Sears auto center.
