Default Chevy Cummins. Need Advice.

Hi, I've stumbled upon a decent deal that could benefit me. I found a rusted out 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Auto Reg Cab Long Box, with low miles on it for cheap. Im looking to do a conversion on my 1994 Chevy 1500 v6 4.3L Reg Cab Long Box 2wd. Its not got the power I need for my trailer and the truck has high sentimental value to me. And its pretty clean. I always wanted to beef it up and make it more unique. My question is, I know it wont be an overnight thing, but what will be the costs of doing a basic conversion (not beefing up the motor, or trans)? I would do all the work myself so just lay it on me. I figured I can use mostly if not all the dodge parts, and just sell all the extra to make money back. I can fab and weld. Just want to get an idea of what all needs to be done. Thanks

just take the body off the chevy and put it on the dodge... a 96 dodge doesnt need much in the way of electronics to run... sounds like you have everything there to complete the job... I would say that if you did it every day for 3 months (like it was a Job) you could easly have it swapped man... just change body mounts and wire in the cab

If you have a donor truck then the cost is going to be low, you will need to have the driveshaft redone for the proper yoke and length. exhaust fab, shift linkage fab, hell you shouldn't have $1000 in extras after getting the donor truck.
