90 7.3 glow plug system
When I go to start my truck, I get a long repetitive clicking of the glow plugs, and I'm just trying to figure out what it is.

yup, u have a short in the system some where ... time to figure out wich one is toast ..... start by doing a continuity test from the plug of the Gp to the block .. if no Cont. then its toast
If they all come up good ... your next best bet is the GP wiring , and then the controller .... start with the plugs first....
If you need to start the truck , I suggest using Seafoam product called Marine Fogging oil , its not super volitile and works great even @ -32* ..... had to use in it idaho when I was hunting years ago .....

a bit off topic but I used a high dose of sea form to fix a stuck injector, used it in the train yard to fix out injectors from burning out on the locomotives. Had to replace all 18 every 3 months duel to the new diesel not lubing them, and at 1,500 a piece the companies blowing a huge amount of money and after we treat with sea foam its down to 3 - 5 injectors every 5 months at a high.
back on topic, I pulled every blow plug, checked them and they worked almost like new. Reconnected the melted wires on the connector by the passenger fender, and it still acted strange. I put the ground for the controller on a different spot when I installed it since the other bolt was rusted on and I was in a hurry at the time. But I went through and cleaned it/ then placed it in the original place. Along with cleaning out the threads for the glow plugs, Now its getting 12.8v to the controller whereas before it was getting 8.3v. And everything seems to be working great since. I'll let her rest over night and try to fire her up in the morning.

While it started much easier and is running smoother, the clicking like in the video is still there but it only clicks maybe twice instead of 10+

I'm hoping so, the plugs in there are autolites, and have been putting in a lot of work for about a month, and there's no swelling on them or anything pointing to failure
The plugs came out well, I'm thinking you're right about a fuel problem, I was thinking the game thing. I soaked a rag with gasoline and threw the rag on top of the intake, and after some stumbling, it started and ran fine all day after. I checked my oil and it seemed to by over filled didn't think much of it at the time, but could the cheapo autozone lift pump be leaking into my crankcase?
