Fuel/Water Separator

How much does this thing drain? MIne flows and flows is this normal or should it slow up?

If your tank is above about 1/4 full, it can keep sucking fuel from the tank and won't stop for a long time.

If mine is under 1/4 full, I get about one .5 liter bottle out of it.
