Default where to buy??

Hi All, I recently purchased my first diesel, 2008 f250 super cab long bed 2wd. im in love with all the HP.. Now i want to clean it up with a new air intake mod, tuner and exhaust package. I'd like to know who has the best stuff and a package deal. I want/need towing MPG as my primary need and a little extra go for when im not towing second. I think I want a spartan tuner unless someone can convince me otherwise. N.W. Indiana or south Chicago area.

Any advice ??

Thanks for the wisdom

Rhyno

It's going to be hard to find an off-road tuner, they were banned, which ever one you get, you'll be happy, just make sure that the one you buy, will have the support from the company.

Spartan has been the popular choice but I also heard about it's serious shifting issues. Not sure if they have already resolved that issue or not. H&S is also a good tuner especially if you are planning on doing a delete, intake or programmer and I think it is a bit cheaper - H&S Performance Diesel Tuners. But honestly, you really can't go wrong with Spartan or H&S.

Thanks guys for your advice. I'm taking a good look at the H+S mini-maxx. I do still have one more question. What or is there any advantage in going to 5 inch exhaust over the 4 inch?? And a second, what advantage does using the 4 or 5 inch downtube provide?

Thanks again

I use the factory exhaust, & I have a H & S XRT PRO, I have a drop-in AFE PRO DRY S air filter. My truck is more than enough fast for me

When you buy a tuner make sure it's an off-road tuner, so you can do the DPF deletes
