Hey everybody,

I have a Chevy 2003 2500HD with the 6.0 gas motor. Last week my "service 4wd" light came on after starting the truck. Now it comes on almost every time I start the truck. When it's on, the buttons are illuminated indicating which drive I'm in and the 4WD system still works, BUT!! the A/C and Cruise Control quit working. Twice since this started, I started the truck and DID NOT get the "service 4WD" light indicator, and both times the A/C and Cruise worked, so they are all connected as an issue. I put a code scanner on it and got no DTC's. I am Williston, ND where it is nearly impossible to get a fast appointment for even simple code pulling of the TCCM, so was wondering if anyone has seen a similar issue and had a good idea of what it probably is?

 

Ive not seen this issue but i know all t cases of your year have a pump rub issue. There are kits to fix it.
