I took off a ADR 1001 box and pulse v2 controller off of a 2001 3500 and wondered what would be different besides the connections to put on my 99. I'm pretty good with wires was thinking I could make this work on my 99. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

map sensor connection is different, and iirc it was either inside the module itself, or inside the monitor (or both) there is a jumper you need to switch inside there and it is labeled 98-00, 01-02 for the positions. jumper position needs changed for boost to read properly and the module to fuel properly.

 

thanks I removed this for a guy that wanted is truck stock and he told me i could keep it for taking it off. For my info what does iirc stand for. Thanks for the info in advance

i opened up the monitor and the module. there is no jumper that i saw in either is it a
wire you can move or is more like a switch

 

they are header pins.

found a pic of it...



if it doesn't have a jumper like shown, then you need to put a jumper on it.

 

my board is different but i found a spot that has a jumper on it. doesn't say anything about 98-00 or 01-02

 

Installed the controler and got everything to work fine but i don't think my egt's are reading right. and my abs light is on. any ideas
