After replacing my injection pump my glow plugs didnt seem to be working. I tested them all and found 4 burnt out ones and noticed that they were all autolite so I went and got 8 new motocraft ZD-9 because a previous owner had changed the harness. Anyway decided to get a new controller and relay as well. When I went to remove the controller I noticed that it wasn't even connected and had been taped off, I unwrapped the tape and the new one plugged in but when I tried to find a socket to fit the old one I could not. Is this a special tool or do I have to stand on my head and get in there with a stubby?

 

i had to unblot mine from the intake all together ... it was a bit of a pain in the ***.. but do able.... might have to pull the crankcase breather to see the bolts .. 2 bolts ..7/16... one on each side
