Just got super b special with 5x14 and 024 DVD it's hittin 1500 egts fast I don't have intake horn and am running stock manifold also I have no plate my question is will adding a fuel plate help and what's the best add ons for egts reduction point to have it if you can't stand on it

 

Bump best mods for lowering egts I'm thinking stiffer afc spring and putting a fuel plate in will help will to much fueling down low am I on the right path

 

def run a fuel plate! its absolutely silly not running one. yes you get more fuel but you then cant tailor fuel curves. i have had good luck with a #6. AFC adjustments will helps some down low but you now have a 2xover stock injector with pretty big DV's. its gonna smoke cant have your cake and eat it too. but a special can be ran WELL on a DD 12 valve. lots of tuning but you will get it.

 

Ok I orderd a 6 and a tighter spring right know this thing just is ridiculous smoke and gets hot realy fast
