CHEVY-CUMMINS CONVERSION
HELLO
i am starting my first conversion, i am dropping a 5.9 cummins 12 valve into my 1981 Chevrolet C10 single cab short bed.
i alreday have the engine but im not sure about the transmission, someone told me to use a allison 545 but im not to sure about that, i was thinking more like a 47RH.
please i need some help here.

why not a manual? be a lot stronger trans with far less maintenance and less to worry about...
NV4500HD, NV5600, or G56 all should bolt right up.
if its a 4x truck then get a NP241DHD xfer case.
