Default Injector Problems

Have a 2002 GMC 2500 Duramax. Just put all new injectors in it. Drove 40 miles out of town and it started losing power. If you let off the accelerator it will gain a bit of power and when you try and accelerate again it does a nosedive and you can only get up to 20 mph. I was told it was the prime pump. Anyone have any answers? All help is greatly appreciated

id check the fpr and possibly take the filter housing off and check all the O-rings inside there to make sure you are leaking air in and losing prime while its running.. any white smoke from the exhaust at all and if you have a rail pressure gauge what is that reading?

if nothing else id get ahold of 2004LB7 on here, he knows what hes talking about and is very knowledgeable about the lb7's

get a hold of a scanner that can read the actual and desired fuel psi. this will point you in the right direction.

Roylb7 is probably correct that it is likely the pressure regulator valve.
