need some info on buying a 2nd gen

Im looking to buy a 2nd gen but im not sure what to look for when buying a 2nd gen. what are some things to check on the truck before buying it?

Front end, tranny, excessive oil leaks around the timing cover, if you're lookin at 24 valves look for cracked block.

dont get a 24v unless you have to just my opinion

I had a 24 V and you could not give me another one ... 12 V IS MUCH MORE DEPINDABLE BY A MILE
