Default friend of dodge

In 1996 I bought my first dodge cummins. It was a club cab auto and I new right away I had found a new love. I drove that truck for 275,000 miles and did nothing but change fluid and brake pads. In fact if it would have been a 4x4 I would have restored it, and still be driving it. In 2005 I bought another dodge it is a 2005 club cab with a high output motor. My wife drive that one. I recently retired and wanted a project so I sold the 96 and bought a 01 dually with a little less than 80,000 miles, and it is pretty cherry. So I do not need all 6 tire so I converted to a srw. I learned enough of this site as a guest to do the job. I know this conversion is not for everyone, but I have made my truck more use full for my needs. I am on the last stretch of the conversion , the body work on the bed. I should have it ready for paint in the next week or so. I used 285/75/17 on stock 05 alloy wheels I am very happy with the out come of my project.
