Hey i have 12 valve Cummins 1997 and i took my stock injectors out and replaces them with DDP injectors my MPG dropped about 200 so i backed my star wheel off and my stock fuel plate is slid full forward i got them pop tested and they were fine by BD diesel and said they spray pattern is 155 not 145 so is that fine or bad HELPP there stage 1 injectors so 50HP and when the truck is in idle and i put my foot on the throttle all the way down quickly smoke comes out whitish blueish and pops Timing may be out ???

 

the truck pops when you floor it at and idle? thats called breaking down. if the truck breaks down at or before about 1250-1300 rpm is needs to be timed. some timing adjustment may solve all your problems

 

what did you torque your injectors too

 

also could be low fuel pressure. possible a crapped out OFV...

 

sounds like you have the dirtier 4 hole marine injectors rated at 300-330hp. They sell new for about $360

don't time above 16-16.5* and you will be fine.
