Default Tire Upgrade

It is time for new tires for my 2011 Ram 4x4 diesel. The 265/70R/17 E raited are the worst tires I have ever owned. How tall and wide can I go with an E raited tire?

Cosco will not sell me the larger tire size. They said they are too big.

Can anyone tell me where I can find an answer to my tire fit question?

You can get E rated tires as big as you want

Really?

Do you have a levelling kit, stock wheels....? Need more info. Searching helps too. People don't want to help those who can't help themselves to start.

My truck is a 2011 diesel 2500 4x4 long bed. The stock tires are 267 70 17 Bfg at the worst tires I have ever owned. Squarm and no traction. I pull a fifth wheel @10,000 lbs. Next year we are going from Pa to Calf and back. I need a tire more for highway than luggers. A larger tire but I do not want to increase my ratio too much. I have 3.73 gears. Can anyone help me out with what size will be best?

Try a 285/70R17 20 mm wider and and about 15 mm taller, sounds more like tread design was your problem rather than size. Michelin makes nice highway tires but they arn't cheap.
