Hey guys, i'm new to the Cummins world and was looking to purchase one. First off the truck i'm looking at is a 08 3500 Dually with the following mods S&B cold air kit...EGR and DPF delete...XRT tuner...4 inch turbo back exhaust with 127k miles on the clock. If I decide to buy it I have to fly and drive it back. What all should I look for? He said the tranny was replaced at 100k miles. Any info would be super helpful.

I was hoping to get away from headgasket problem after my 6.0 .

 

they are not near as bad only if you run big power boost. way cheaper to fix too.

 

So if I stud it with ARP's it will be fine then? I won't have to pull the cab will I?

That's good to know, I think this truck might even fit in my garage .

 

i put my mighty diesel bolts in mine after i blew a head gasket at 54k. i got 152k now.

 

Gives me hope for this truck.
