Ok, So i installed a Raptor 100 lift pump this weekend and when i went to try and start my truck it seems to really have a problem turning over and starting up. when it did finally role over and start running it actually had better rpms in D and in P then with the mechanical lift pump. But when i took it on the road i noticed it was not shifting but i could make it up to about 55 but it wouldnt shift outta 3rd. I noticed my volts on my battery meter had gone down to 10-12 volts. So i thought maybe the alternater cannot generate enough power to keep the new lift pump going and shift. Anyone have similar problems or what stuck in 3rd gear means? Before i installed this pump the truck not only shifted fine but started up every single time. Why would installing this lift pump cause problems like this? Maybe i ripped a wire out installing it ? any ideas ? Thanks for the help!O and i replaced both the battereys and got new batterey cables too.
