Default Blue smoke at idle

I just bought an 02 duramax 2500 hd. I did research and made sure injectors had been replaced before i bought it but now it is smoking. Previous owner said it had been doing it for as long as he owned it. Injectors were replace at 70000 and i bought it at 188000. I took it to a shop and had it checked out, mechanic said that number 3 was slightly jumping but not enough to make it smoke like that. The smoke smelled like fuel until two days ago now it is rank, any suggestions? Ive been researching on replacing injectors and wondering if it is better to replace all eight or if it is ok to just replace one side. Also were is the best place to get injectors?

Also the smoke went from just building up at idle to smoking all the time. From what ive read the injectors are need to be replaced but dont understand why the smoke changed and what could be going on with that.

Typical injector issues.

You can replace jest one without problems but it take so much work to get at them that most will replace the others. History says if one is out the others are not far behind.

With its history I would run an aftermarket suplementary filter. I would also try the GM injector cleaning procedure

Not really a gm thing but they use it. BG and other companies have an injector cleaning chemical and a contraption that hooks into your fuel lines and runs the chemical through the injectors while truck is running. Claims to drop balance rates a few points. BG rep mentioned one truck that was pretty bad that cleaned up after three consecutive cleanings. The cleaner will not fix damaged seats from poor filtration tho. It might be worth a try but, no guarantee that it will work.

If I do end up replacing the injectors where is the best place to buy, most cost effective and best injector.
