anybody who is installing an aftermarket balancer please let me know. I'm interested in buying your old one if its in good shape.

, well aftermarket just holds up better to higher rpm. not only that but its a fluid style damper which is just a better more modern design. If i had the budget its what i would buy but i cant justify spending closer to 500 bucks on this truck when it needs so many other things. Im in the process of trying to fix the truck up right now, i have been letting all sorts of problems ride for years.

do a google search on the subject you might be as surprised as i was to see how big of a deal a lot of cummins enthusiasts make it to have a better balancer.

 

I put a ati on my brothers 98 and that thing is **** it helps with vibration and runs smother and is much better for high horse power applications. The only reason we replaced it was because his was shot and it was wobbling like a son of a bitch so its in the trash
