Finally bought a nice solid southern truck. Well maintained and looks good from a distance! No rust. Woo Hoo!

Not for now. I am setting up a hop farm and I need to rely on the truck and can't afford to replace drive train parts. I have thought about a fuel plate and boost elbow kit. I will add a gauge pillar before I start doing anything. It has a 4" straight pipe exhaust, so that should open up the back end for any mild power gain. Advice/suggestions are always welcome! This is a fantastic resource BTW.

For just a little more power without making it break stuff is take the afc cover off and move the plate forward a bit. There's a tamper proof bolt on it that usually has to be broken and replaced with a normal bolt. That upgrade will make a big difference but not be too much for your factory parts to handle

I like the idea DMan! I really don't want to grind up my stock plate and also don't want to spend any money on a #10 etc. yet. I also like the idea of being able to return to stock easily if I want to. I'll let you know how it goes.

as well as sliding the plate full forward you can slide the afc cover to full forward also.
