Default A little about me...

I'm a Vietnam era Marine who is semi-retired and have become interested in building a 2F1R 3wheel vehicle. I'm working on the design of a 2F1R 3wheel vehicle and I'd like to use a small, fairly powerful diesel setup as the primary drive mechanism. I don't know alot about diesel setups and I'd welcome suggestions and recommendations to use. I'm trying to design a 2 seat side-by-side with a small (3') storage/package area behind the seats. The body will be fiberglass laid over carved foam to define the shape and provide the mounting for the drive train. An alternative would be to mount the engine in the rear and drive the rear wheel through either a short driveshaft or a motorcycle clutch, transmission and chain drive.

I have built several other vehicles but a long time ago and none of them diesel.
