94 cummins motor problems

Default 94 cummins motor problems

I got a 94 cummins motor with blow by and a 96 motor that I built I was goin to put it in and the motor has a crack in it! Now I got these performance parts for it as cant use the motor. Could I put the parts in the 94 with the blow by or would I be just was wroth my time and ruin my new parts? Feed back woul be great thanks!

well what kind of parts are they? Do you know why it has blow by? could be rings my 95 had it bad and it was rings, your breather tube could be clogged lots of things could fix blow by or at least bandaid it.

I got 191dvs bd super b turbo 75 horse injectors 4kgsk 60# springs 100 fuel plate 5 inch exhaust ats 3 piece manifold billet fly wheel. The oil comes out of the dipstick. Andinstead I buying another motor and swapping it could I just run this other motor or will it blow up? Lol

you have that much invested in parts might as well figure out why blow by. most likley rings.

ya its not really gonnna bother any of your parts maybe injectors i doubt it though, but its more than likely the rings and believe me it will get annoying besides the fact your gonna have oil all over because thats exactly were mine blew from. You will not be happy when you see that your black smoke has gone to a dull grey that **** will errrk the **** out of you believe me .Im not one of those i just want smoke guys its just nice when its dark not grey i hated it

Lol. But the motor won't runaway on itself will it? An I sprayed some brake cleaner in the vent tube and some chunks came out but still leakin a little but

It's on the drivers side of the motor right above the starter

basically big plastic hose cant miss it if you look from the bottom. But back to the blow by you can always get one of those breather re-locator kits88-02 Dodge 5.9L Cummins Crank Case Breather Relocation Kit
