Default Glowshift boost gauge hose

First timer here and I can't for the life of me figure out how to install this boost gauge hose ...

I'm not understanding how it holds itself in place with these fittings and which way the furrel fittings go.

Someone help me hahaha

what you mean hold itself in place? the fittings can only go one way.The crush collar gets sandwiched between the fitting and the cap. If the collar is only bevelled on one side the bevel goes toward the flare in the fitting and flat part goes against cap. If the collar is beveled on both sides it can go either way.

Ya I understand that but when it's all tightened together will it hold the boost hose into the fittings and it won't easily just pull out?

the collar will crush down and pinch the boost line, itll hold it tight once it is crushed enough

Oh okay thank you for clarifying that from what understanding the furrel fittings will crush when tightened in between the fittings
