I have a 94 12 valve cummins bone stock. I want to give the old goat some *****. I'm not looking to make a race truck but what can I do to make her run a little better? Since you can't chip these old goats. Thanks y'all

 

fuel plate and afc housing tune will make it a whole different truck. you can buy a fuel plate. slide the stock one forward or grind your own. first things first i would say some intake and exhuast work. it needs to breath to make power. after that you can start fiddling with power.

 

So put cold air intake and maybe an aftermarket intake manifold? Would 4 or 5 inch exhaust help?

 

4 definetely.. 5's overkill.

cold air intake, 4 inch exhaust, i would grind the factory plate ( just remove a little at a timeuntil youre satisfied) and you will notice a big difference. is it auto or 5 speed?

 

Automatic I just had the tranny rebuilt.

 

youll wanna keep it light on power adders then, especially if its brand new
