read in diesel power they are putting in a "petite diesel engine" does this mean gm is doing away with the duramax or are they shrinking down the ci? figured if anyone knew they would be on here, just curious

 

I think that was for their 1500s. The duramax is here it stay

 

I heard they are looking at a 2.0L diesel. Its also not going into their 1500s from what I understand is that its going into a car. I saw it some where don't remember if it was in DPM or some where else. I know I saw some pictures I believe on facebook. Not sure if this is what your talking about. I know Ford and Chevy are redoing their looks for 2014 along with maybe some different engine work. Because Chevy really hasn't produced andything that knew with their trucks. Dodge went all out on the 2013's with changing everything from front end to cab space. They only thing they didn't change was the style because customers really liked the look of the dodge. So, like I said I don't think that is going into the 1500's. I know Ford is playing around with a new diesel engine, weather it hits the open market or US market is open unless ya'll know.
