I see references to certain factory ECM tuning strategies being better than others, and everyone seems to know what strategy their truck is running... but nobody says how you find out what your truck is running!

I just got my livewire TS yesterday. Will it indicate what base code I have when I first plug it in to my OBDII port, or is there somewhere in the menu's that you can look it up... or do I need some other method to find out my base code?

I plan to roll back my ECM/TCM to what ever is considered best for my year (06 truck with 05 build date). Will I use up a second unlock on my SCT if I use the SCT now and then roll back the computer?

I can't say how your TS will show the strategy but most people will use an SCT. Just flip through the menus and see what you find.

Your SCT is VIN based not strategy based so as long as you keep your truck all will be well.
