Hello I'm looking to do a diesel swap into my old k30. I was leaning towards an old 12 valve cummins but honestly have no experience with diesels at all so if you have any suggestions at all I would appreciate any information I can gather as I begin this journey. I also was interested in running an automatic transmission but I'm not opposed to manuals so any help there I would also appreciate.

 

I would go with a 94-97 12valve with the P-7100 fuel pump, and you can build a 47rh/re(the same trans behind that cummins) transmission to take a large amount of power
