I have a 97 f350 powerstroke with the E40d Automatic, 4x4. The truck has 200k , with all its original drivetrain. I have added the swamps performance IDM, Edge evolution tuner, AFE intake, after market wheels and tires, high volume injection pump and lift pump. The truck is original black on grey regular cab long bed. I just installed a gooseneck hitch and class 5 tounge hitch. I have pulled my 26ft titan gooseneck with 12k on it fully loaded all the way to Wisconsin and back several times. The truck does great and gets really good fuel economy. unloaded around 17 loaded I m getting 14. Keep in mind thats driving 55-60 mph. It would be nice to have a 6 spd automatic with and intercooler. Future upgrades im planning on making. If you have any parts or advice on upgrades based on expirience with my year truck feel free say something.

Well i am not a big powerstroke fan so my suggestion would be to switch to a cummins 5.9. I think 5.9s are faster off the line and easier to build. Also i would buy one that was bone stock and build it yourself from the ground up.
