Hello, Newbie here Just purchased a used 2008 3500 Dually for hauling my horses. I have been on a roller coaster ride on the pros and cons of this truck and the 6.7 I thought I was going to be able to tweak the engine, DPF delete and so on. Also I was told dont let the truck idle. Help, I know that this truck is something I have wanted, but was not up to date on technical issues. I have had it on the road hauling yesterday for the first time, blew my mind the power it had. Ran good, better than my Ford 2000 7.3 Looking forward chatting with you folks.

 

 

I'm not sure why you can't let the truck idle? I'm from the duramax's world so I used efi live to delete my dpf. I'm sure there are some sort of tuner available to do so on your rig. Good luck and welcome
