another g56 fail,nv5600 swap??
both top ears for the bolts on the trans snapped off. and broke my transmission adapter. why use aluminum on high torque applications. (idiots) every bolt on the trans was tight not a single loose bolt or some what loose for that matter. so in the passed 4months cracked tcase, broke belhousing, broke transmission adapter. wtf really

well i welded the trans back together just for the hell of it. im in the making of building a g56 girdle. i have access to a full shop with a burn table plasma cutters tig machine. rolls and fixing to have a break machine.
i will post pictures as progress comes with the girdle. right now we cut the ring that will bolt to the bellhousing 3/8 carbon steel. if it turns out some what decent and fits nice. me and i buddy may be willing to start building these and selling the girdles. this is just a trial and error. so bare with us..

Well back when I broke this trans. I welded it back together got scared and put it behind my 12v and bought another one. Earlier this year I broke the 2nd one. So I just completed the nv5600 swap. Works great I hope this one last.
