Default 1999 7.3 MISSING&MASSIVE POWER-LOSS

HELLO... i am new to this site and already find extremely interesting&helpful.
I am an electrical contractor that has been running a 1999 E-350 SUPERDUTY 7.3 for sometime now. I run truck low on fuel when this problem started to find my tank contained a good 2" pile of rust. Changed tank, pump, filters and blew out fuel lines. Still hitting hard with 0 power. Will start and idle great. Techs at work buzz test injectors and says Ok. Says they picked up code for fuel pressure regulator and says it is erratic spiking and the going flat-line all over the place and possibly rust made it into regulator. Now my issue is i notice a fuel-pressure regulator & a fuel injector regulator. What one of these are more likely to fail?

The fuel pressure regulator is located upper right-hand side of the fuel bowl for the fuel filter is it's a T 27 IIRC take it apart clean it put it back together and you should be done inspect the O-rings well you're in there

Hey man sorry if caps got to you shift key sticks at times and i just go with it. I am in the Warren area & we operate out of a location at 7Mile and Ryan. I cleaned the fuel regulator and noticed some power restored. I am getting a severe shutter between 35-50MPH when accel pedal is about 25% if i step on it she gets up and goes with zero smoke but from a stop still slugish and i think worse in reverse. I also notice OD-OFF light on selector not working. The only dash indicator lights are my ABS&Brake and they come and go before my low fuel issue. Filter was changed about a month ago and it seems ok hard to tell. I had some minor particles in bowl but very small amount. Also on cold starts noticed some fuel dripping from bowl drain tube. Truck almost sounds like it has spark knock also. LOOK NO CAPS... I am paying attention now

One other thing.. I did replace low pressure pump with after market pump from Hastings and it did seem kind of cheap plastic but fuel bowl fills up rather quickly

its cool, dont really bother me as much as some others , with everything thats had gotten into the lines tank and so on you may want to thow a filter in it too because a diesel fuel filter has to get changed out WAAAAYYYY more than a gassers does to begin with and add some contaminents your askin for that thing to be sucked through and stuff to get to your inj's the 35-50 got me kinda wondering though... could be a ujoint i just had to do the middle in mine on fri n the rear this past summer... and its was kinda hit or miss on my shudder/shake for that one...

although if your short on fuel under load thatll give you hassle too(possible shudder)
