Been on here for a week or so I guess. Thought id post a picture of my truck. It is a 1996 12v. I bought the truck and it was well kept and virtually untouched. Older guy had it and only used it to pull his horse trailer around. Only Things he did to it was MBRP 4" with 5" tip, Cold air, and turbo Silencer. Only had 150k on it. Since i have had it I removed the fuel plate, gutted the afc and turned the star gear. Working wit ha friend at a local shop to get it timed, injectors, dv's. not sure where else to go after that.

 

Good find, but do yourself a favor and put the AFC back to operational

 

Make that big of a difference? My buddy told me to gut it. He has build some pretty mean trucks and i have been going by what he has suggested to do.

Working on that one. I am recently laid off so funds are somewhat limited. Going from a $27 a hour job to nothing puts a damper on things.
