Default 2007 5.9 cummins volt meter reading voltage past acceptable range

My truck has recently started dipping in voltage on start up, and today she started reading abnormally high voltage. Also on first start up it sounds like all my gauges vibrate and they delay a second before reading any info.

Any ideas? Batteries? Alternator? Bad ground?

Possible bad ground(s). Check your grounds and all cables. But could also have a weak or bad battery. If it turns out to be a bad battery, remember to change them both out.

Went to Autozone and it turned out to just be a bad battery. Thanks for the help.
