Default 03 power lose

My 03new when it shifts into OD seems like I loose alot of power. Engine noise decreases alot and speed don't climb as fast. New tranny and lift pump. Not sure what going on something not rite.
At times sounds like turbo barking when OD engages

Hmm, it be nice to get a scanner on your truck it can be a sensor, or possibly just as easy as a fuel filter... When you say turbo barking you mean in kinda chirps like it does when you build up alot of boost then let off?

i have had the truck for a year it has done it since i bought it. numerous fuel filters so that not it. the turbo does not bark unless i am loaded and it does it like you said. it almost acts like it is starving for air. i dont know what is going on. ever since i bought the truck it seems weak to me.

Can you please answer these questions..

How many miles?

What kind of lift pump? Stock or Aftermarket.

Do you have prolonged starts?

Do you have a Check Engine Light?

Any repairs besides the lift pump.. And did the truck act like this before the tranny and lift pump? thanks

Hmm, Best thing to do is try to get a scanner on there and check and see what your injection pressure are, map sensor, and see if you can check your wastegate. But one simple thing you can try and do is pull the intake off the front of the turbo check for back and forth and side to side play..

not always... a good scanner can read each injector and sensor out put such as a snap on varus.. it can read the out put of the lift pump and high pressure pump...
