hey fellas, my name is Micah.
I have a 1977 ford f-250 crew cab highboy
I have elimated a 7.3 powerstroke and a 7.3 idi as options for my swap. i said no to the powerstroke cause it has a ton of wires and i dont like all that electrical work, i said no to the idi because they are durable but they lack power. my plans for this truck are pretty large. I want to use it as a optional daily driver but also to pull sled along with my brother. He has a 96' powerstroke f-350, so i have decided if i wanna be anywhere close to him in competetion, im gunna need a dt466. i recently purchased a fully mechanical dt466 and plan on transplanting it within the next 6 months. my brother knows a ton more than i do about diesels so im glad he is around. any who, that is my backround and the reason why i am here. any advice or encouragement will be greatly appreciated. and no i will not put a cummins in it! hahaha
