So id like to say hello and ect to the duramax side of the site. I just purchased a 2010 GMC 2500 fully loaded dmax. I fell weird because i just sold my 800hp cummins and my diesel car and bought a dmax. Safe to say i love the power and speed, and it feels so weird driving an automatic. But i really do like it. its stock ( exhaust is straight pipe, and i have the PPE+2 race programmer) but my real question is... does anyone else have a problem finding the sticker that says "duramax" that youd put on your back glass window? i was looking for a reflective one to go across my back window... but i couldnt find even the plane jane white ones online... maybe im searching wrong but if anyone could help?

Yea it's a huge change going from cummins to duramax. I got rid of my 06 cummins and got a 2008 duramax crew cab 4 days ago. I liking the duramax a lot so far even totally stock. And can't wait to start ordering parts for it

I have had efi live for two years now, my tuner made my highest tune the Max HP that the stock tranny will handle without damaging it. Also 5th and 6th gear are the weak links. Always downshift to 4th if you want to play hard. I can slip mine if I get on it hard and forget to downshift.. I would say its around 130-150 hp tune. I can beat my buddy's rcsb 2005 duramax. He has air intake, exhaust, egr delete and ppe programmer. My truck is ccsb a lot heavier and just exhaust n tune

Ok yea 120-150 would be perfect for me. It just scared me because my buddy wrecked his in a month after the live tune. But he drove it super hard a lot. Which I don't plan on doing all the time

I would look into getting a "trans-go" jr shift kit. For 100$ it will help

Thanks a lot for your help. I looked it up and it seems like a nice and inexpensive way to make my transmission last a lot longer
