I just rebuild this trans in my truck. its a late model 2006 put in a transtar triple disc convter new alto clutches sonnas 2nd gear super servo sun coast billet band anchor and apply par used oem 5:1 lever new sonnax accumlator piston new gaskets oem front pump low rev band an superior shift kit.....everything shifted fine for the first 220ish miles then threw the code and now i dont have lock up in 3rd or 4th.....put in a new borg warner gov pressure solenoid and new tcc od solenoid an still same issue....


Anyone have any input on this????

You may have a bad connection? Did you check compatibality?

Its not any connection issues...spoke with converter company...transtar an gonna pull it out an maybe at this point try to get my money back n get a sun coast unit....so i dont gotta deal with pullin the trans again....an inspecting it all once more an praying to the diesel gods i didnt wipe out a clutch pack...or any other internals

So to update the issue...pulled trans pull it apart the tcc cover plate had loosened an had no pressure to apply the converter clutch. Trans goes in tomorrow also added a new hd one piece input shaft from sonnax also a new DTT flexplate with arp bolts holding it in!
