Default What type of injectors?

Im looking for new injectors for my 04 lb7. Im looking to make around 500 at the rear wheels with efi live and tranny and lift pump. Im looking at the industrial injection 50hp injectors and wonder if those are any good?

It is a good choice. Of course custom tuning should be used to adjust the timing and idle/low speed pulse width to make it more drivable

Of course you can make the 500+ hp with a turbo upgrade and stock injectors quite easily. with more air and not excessive fuel should be safer on the engine.

The best would be the 50hp injectors to lower timing and a turbo upgrade. Tuned right the engine can reliably make 500hp and cleanly too.

so I could just put stock injectors back in it and just upgrade the turbo and that will make 500whp reliably?

You could make 500 with the stock injectors and turbo but the get would be high and blowing lots of black smoke. Something like a S366 would allow your engine to use more of the fuel and produce higher numbers with out as much smoke. As a guess, with just a turbo upgrade and custom tuning you could be close to 600 hp. The larger injectors are great for lowering pulse with so you are not chasing the piston or running ridiculous amounts of timing. It puts more fuel in in the same amount of time so you could lower the timing. But the stock injectors are already capable of doing 500ish hp so in my opinion more air is better then more fuel.

As long as they are Bosch remans. Right now all of the LB7 injectors are remans.

remember reliable is relative. I don't want you to think that nothing can brake or go wrong. Anytime that you increase hp the reliability of the engine will always go down. Just trying to tell you a better way to get the hp you seek.
