so my truck won't get past 55mph and starts bucking and not getting power, same on steep hills. i was told i need a new egr to fix it, but i want to make sure since its going to cost around 200$ i do sometimes get past 55mph but its rare that happens

 

Could be a lift pump or fuel pressure issue?

 

What motor you got in your 94 Blazer ?

 

its a 6.5l turbo diesel

 

Have you changed fuel and air filters ?

 

the fuel filter looks brand new but i was thinking of replacing it anyways (recommended filter?) also i don't think the air filter has been replaced

 

Well I would start there, Baldwin and Wix are both decent filters
