A programmer can yield more HP and Torque, but I am already bankrupt replacing head gaskets, is the programmer worth the extra cost and the consequence of eating oatmeal for the next couple months. Is the programmer worth it in the long term? I do not care about being faster than buddy or pulling faster up a hill, but better MPG and longevity would be great...

 

Don't put a programmer on then. Keep it the way it is.
