Got some very terrible news yesterday. A very good friend of mine (my fishin buddy) had 2 of his daughters involved in a very bad car accident that had 5 local teens in it. All of whom I know and know the parents. My friend lost one of his daughters in the accident (15yrs old). All four other kids were Med flighted. Sometimes life just doesn't seem fair.
Gives a whole new meaning to Thanksgiving for me. 2 of my kids are home and the other one arriving this morning sometime. Just make sure you give some hugs and love to those that are special to ya, not only today but any day of the year that you see them! You just never know when they may be taken away.

Wow over 2700 likes on her RIP FB page already! http://www.facebook.com/RipMakaylaHore We are a town of slightly over 3 thousand people. Very nice of people to show their respect in this way to the family. She was a very special girl.
Can't seem to get this out of my mind today and I'm sure it's not going to be any easier in the coming days

 

I saw that story this morning on the news and what a tradgey and then I see this thread... Just a horrible situation all the way around. Just like one of my dads friends took his boys out hunting and his middle boy (14 years old) fell out of his tree and paralyzed himself with no chance to walk ever again... This is stuff you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy.
