Default 48re readings from internal temperature sensor

Hey guys its been a long time since i have been on here, but anyway i have a edge juice with attitue in my truck an i have been looking around on here and other forums an can't seem to find a whole lot on what the normal range for tranny temp is when it is being read through the OBDII port from the internal sensor the edge usually shows 170-200 and stays for the most part around 185ish, is this normal or is that a high reading. Also is the reading from the edge even an accurate reading. thanks for the help

Thats a good trans temp reading, anything over 220-40 is getting hot.

Default trans temp

Mine usually runs 130*-170* without load, pulling our 8k toy hauler 150*-190* even on hot days. I have never had mine over 200* but as previously stated 220* would be max safe temp IMO.
