Question 2002 LB7 no start

im new here and could use some help! about 8 months ago i parked my truck because of fuel prices - it ran fine, had a slight gray smoke to it when idling. and about 4 months ago i went to crank the truck and it will not fire. it will start with starting fluid but won't stay running i've tried fuel filters and a whole bunch more. could use some help and i have a very tight budget right now, and i really need my truck.

Idk without the truck running cause the only way I know how to is to check injector balance rates which I think you can only do when the trucks running I honestly would have it towed to a chevy dealership garage that says they worked on duramaxs before. Other than that I have no idea sorry man

Yeah man any injector job blows but on an lb7 there even worse cause you gotta tear the heads apart to get to them which is about $5000 just about anywhere you go. I'd sell it

If you change them your self it will only be roughly $2k. Not that hard to do. There is a good write up one this site.
