Have an opertunity to pick up a pretty good deal on an 08 2500 cc with a trashed engine.Im looking for at least a complete engine as this one was torn down to a short block over a year ago by a dealer and has been pretty much open to the elements since.. I would really like to find a complete/totalled donor truck so Ill know I have everyting to get it back together and recoupe some $$$$ from leftover parts.I dont mind spending 8K or so on a rolled over truck if the milage is right and i still have something decent to part out.... Let me know if anyone knows where a decent deal might be sitting..... Im on the east coast but will travel a bit for the right deal

 

Bought the truck and my hunt is officially on! Would still like to find a complete/totalled donor truck but,also looking for just an engine. I found a complete eng with fuel system and turbo,99k miles and they will take my trashed core without extra charge 250 miles away from me for $4800........ anyone think there is a better deal to be found?

 

go rent one from a rental company and swap engines.
